Plant and Equipment

The need for maintenance has become an intrinsic part of daily life both at home and at work. Without it the need would swiftly become apparent. Breakdowns at home can be bad enough but at work their consequences become magnified and can quickly become a real threat to the business if remedial action is slow or not forthcoming. The ideal, of course, is to reduce such events to a minimum and this is where a well administered, good maintenance management system can provide significant benefit to the Company.

We have been providing successful solutions since 1983 over a variety of different industries and market sectors at home and abroad. The system is well proven and has been shown to:

  • Decrease downtime
  • Increase productive uptime
  •  Decrease costs
  •  Increase machine life
  •  Decrease resource requirement
  •  Increase overall productivity

Indeed, use of the Machine Overview Monitor enables the maintenance manager to get:

  • Easy viewing of who is doing what
  • Immediate indication of current and outstanding work against any asset, group, area, etc.
  • Simple and quick fault reporting against standardised fault structures
  • Effective supervision enabling resources to be switched between jobs with minimum disruption
  • Shop floor involvement with real time updates for management and planning teams
  • Overviews of assets and associated sub assets that are tailored to the user
  • Quick and easy access to parts availability
  • Quick and easy issue of parts. Interfacing to automatic stores (e.g. carousel, lean lift, etc.) is available
  • Asset specific risk assessments
  • Repair & Reactive Work

Reactive Maintenance embraces all unplanned work (e.g. breakdowns). It may be created in the system in a variety of ways (e.g. through the help desk, using the MOM module, via UltraSysNet Assistant, from UltraSysNet Pocket or from a project)
