Stores and Stock Control

UltraSys comes with fully integrated stores and stock control facilities. The product has been in operation for many years and has saved companies significant amounts of money. UltraSys carefully balances the requirement of having the right part in stock in times of need against carrying too much stock and incurring needless expense. Sophisticated algorithms working within UltraSys ensure that this constraint is met, yet at the same time the system is easy to use and obvious in function. The following are just some of the attributes available within the system.

  • Facility to access unlimited information on any stock or nonstock item
  • Facility to attach any number of documents, drawings, spreadsheets, photographs, etc. to any stock or nonstock item
  • Access to any number of suppliers associated with an item and in turn store information on the item relative to that supplier. In particular, lead times, costs, discounts, etc.
  • Facility to determine stock availability
  • Facility to produce stock valuations using purchase, average and replacement costs
  • Facility to hold items in any number of stores and any number of stock locations within a store
  • Facility to link to assets that use the same part and stock alternatives
  • Facility to perform batch control and analysis. It is therefore, possible to track any item used on a job back to the batch from which it was issued
  • Facility to handle consignment stock
  • Facility to handle revolving stock and tools issue
  • Facility to perform standard stock takes and scheduled stock inventories
  • Facility to create, assign and implement COSHH assessments

A unique alert facility that informs the user (e.g. supervisor) if job response and completion are likely to fail a service level agreement or attract a penalty.

Jobs may arise automatically through the scheduler (e.g. periodic inspections), via the helpdesk (where a caller is reporting a problem) or as part of a larger project (e.g. painting programme).

The system is operational over a wide spectrum of users (e.g. Councils, Hospitals, Service Providers, MOD Establishments, Schools, etc.) and can handle any size of organisation.
