Scheduler and Planning

UltraSys Features a Powerful Maintenance Scheduler And Resource Planner that provides:

  • Facility to provide fixed interval based maintenance with any number of calendar periods
  • Facility to provide meter based maintenance with any number of different meter units
  • Facility to provide condition based maintenance with any number of different condition units
  • Facility to provide "calendarised" maintenance intervals. For example, only 12 monthly tickets to be produced in a calendar year
  • Facility to suppress work if the requirement on say, a monthly work order is the same as on a six monthly work order and they are to be accomplished within the same week
  • Facility to align work so as to ensure for example, that an asset is not taken out of commission twice to complete two maintenance tasks when they could have been done at the same time
  • Facility to forecast work and manipulate it through a Gantt chart

Planned Preventive Maintenance

Planned Maintenance is produced by the scheduler and considers resource requirement and parts availability as well as the maintenance requirements and risk assessments of the asset. The system can deal equally well with calendar based events (e.g. monthly, 3 monthly, etc) meter based events (e.g. 500 hrs working, 20,000 cycles, etc) and in the use of calendar based maintenance the system also caters for the calendaring process (i.e., a monthly maintenance only to occur once each calendar month) a suppression process (i.e. monthly and 3 monthly maintenances to be absorbed by a 6 monthly event) and an alignment process which causes the system to look ahead and identify similar maintenances that could be brought forward so as to reduce downtime.

Jobs may arise automatically through the scheduler (e.g. periodic inspections), via the helpdesk (where a caller is reporting a problem) or as part of a larger project (e.g. painting programme).

The system is operational over a wide spectrum of users (e.g. Manufacturers, Councils, Hospitals, Service Providers, MOD Establishments, Schools, etc.) and can handle any size of organisation.
