The system is able to monitor and control all maintenance requirements from the simplest construction to the most sophisticated building. For example, councils use the system to maintain both their housing stock and civic buildings.
A building may be broken down into as many component parts that the user wishes (e.g. roof, floor, room, lift etc.) and a full maintenance history is created and kept on each component.
The system supports both reactive (e.g. broken window) and proactive (e.g. gas servicing) and provides help desk, repair guide and an appointments system to facilitate the former and a scheduler, resource plan and letter production system to facilitate the latter.
In addition, the system can also handle project work and provide a facility for PDA's to be used by the tradesman so as to expedite data entry and job update.
